LAMP3的表达还与多种皮肤疾病相关。在特应性皮炎(AD)中,LAMP3+的DCs在病变皮肤中表达CCL19受体CCR7,并与表达CCL2和CCL19的纤维母细胞相互作用,调节淋巴细胞的组织和2型炎症[4]。此外,LAMP3+的DCs在膀胱尿路上皮癌(BC)中可能参与调节性T细胞的募集,从而形成免疫抑制性肿瘤微环境[6]。在AD患者的皮肤中,LAMP3+的DCs与表达CCL13和CCL18的M2巨噬细胞以及T细胞之间存在邻近浸润和相互作用[7]。

LAMP3的基因表达受转录因子ATF4的直接调控。在细胞应激过程中,LAMP3 mRNA水平显著升高,而siRNA介导的ATF4敲低和外源性ATF4过表达实验表明,ATF4上调LAMP3 mRNA水平[5]。ChIP实验证实了ATF4结合位点存在于LAMP3基因启动子区域,双荧光素酶报告基因实验进一步证实了ATF4结合位点对LAMP3转录上调的重要性[5]。
