在代谢综合征中,DYRK1B的表达水平显著升高,并且与代谢综合征的发生密切相关。一项针对埃及人群的研究发现,DYRK1B在代谢综合征患者中的表达水平显著高于健康对照组,提示DYRK1B可能参与了代谢综合征的发生和发展[1]。此外,DYRK1B的突变也与代谢综合征的发生相关。两项研究表明,DYRK1B基因中的两个错义突变(H90P和R102C)与一种罕见的常染色体显性遗传代谢综合征相关,并且这些突变影响DYRK1B的成熟和稳定性,从而导致DYRK1B的异常表达和功能[1,9]。

在三阴性乳腺癌中,DYRK1B的表达水平也与肿瘤的恶性程度相关。一项研究使用Kinome siRNA文库筛选发现,DYRK1B在TNBC细胞中的表达水平与肿瘤细胞的增殖、迁移和侵袭能力密切相关。此外,DYRK1B的表达水平与TNBC患者的预后相关,高表达DYRK1B的TNBC患者预后较差[5]。

在肺癌中,DYRK1B的表达水平也与肿瘤的恶性程度相关。一项研究发现,A549肺腺癌细胞中DYRK1B的过表达可以诱导细胞向间质细胞表型转变,并增强细胞的迁移能力。此外,DYRK1B的过表达还与肺癌患者的预后相关,高表达DYRK1B的肺癌患者预后较差[7]。

综上所述,DYRK1B在多种生物学过程中发挥着重要作用,包括细胞周期调控、细胞凋亡、DNA损伤修复和肿瘤发生等。DYRK1B的异常表达与多种癌症的发生和发展密切相关,提示DYRK1B可能成为癌症治疗的新靶点。
