ART3在细胞内质膜运输和磷脂稳态中也具有重要作用。研究发现,ART3参与调节高亲和性脯氨酸转运蛋白Put4的内吞作用。酵母α-arrestin Art3是脯氨酸转运蛋白Put4内吞作用的关键调节因子。此外,ART3还参与调节甘油磷脂酰肌醇(GPI)转运蛋白Git1的转运和定位。α-arrestins Aly1/Art6和Aly2/Art3通过调节Git1的转运和定位,影响磷脂的分布和稳态[3][7]。
