在胚胎干细胞(ESCs)的分化过程中,STRIP2也发挥着重要作用。研究发现,STRIP2沉默可以抑制ESCs的分化,导致分化细胞出现异常的核体结构,并伴随着表观遗传调控因子和microRNA的表达异常[5]。

此外,STRIP2的表达还受到microRNA的调控。研究发现,microRNA-30c-2-3p可以直接靶向STRIP2,抑制其表达,从而抑制胃癌细胞的恶性进展[7]。
